The Gardens Figure Skating Clubs Presents
The WIZ/Wizard of Oz on Ice

Preparations for our 2007 spring show - are now underway. The show is scheduled for March 31 and April 1 with 2 shows performed each day. We will be performing in the Patrick Rink at
the Gardens Ice House . Intention Forms are not available Rehearsals are scheduled to take place during club ice on Saturdays from 3:10-4:40pm and are tentatively scheduled to start Jan , 2007. A schedule will be provided to indicate what time you should be there, however you are welcome to come for the entire time and use available space for practice. Your participation fee covers the cost of Saturday club ice time If needed some additional practices may be scheduled to occur during the Thursday club ice session, for individual solos or specific group numbers. Notification will be given in advance.
Volunteers are needed in all areas to ensure the show is a huge success. There's plenty of work to go around!! Please <1fill out the indicate the area where you would like to help. Volunteer areas include:

    Signing this form indicates consent for your skater to participate in the 2007 Spring Show and that you and your skater agree to pay the show fee, provide necessary costumes, attend off and on-ice rehearsals as well as all show performances, and conduct yourself in such a manner as to be a credit to the Gardens Figure Skating Club.
    Parents are also expected to volunteer time before, during and immediately after the show to do the work necessary to produce an Ice skating show.

    Congratulations to all show cast members on a job well done!!! 2 sold out
    shows - not bad for a first time around. Everyone did a phenomenal job
    skating and performing. We are so proud of all your hard work and
    dedication!

    Thank you to all the volunteers to helped make this show a reality. Your
    help, support, and willingness to take on just about anything got the job
    done beyond our wildest dreams!

    A big thank you to the never-tiring show committee members for their
    superior problem solving skills and amazing energy and enthusiasm. We
    couldn't have done this without you.

    Also, a big thank you to our Choreographers (Marny, Danielle, Libby, Jacques
    and Ted) for creating such wonderful numbers, and to our special Guest
    Performers - Michael, Annie Mae and Christopher Weiss, and the Bowie
    Metroliners.
    All we can say is WOW! - You really took our breath away with your talents
    and skills!!

    Finally, we would like to thank the show's Artistic Director - Ted Kelton.
    Without Ted, none of this would be possible. His vision for this show
    became a reality that was truly a wonder to behold.
